Margaret A. Moore, CSBA, LEED AP, CEO
Margaret “Marky” A. Moore is the Chief Executive Officer and founder of Capital Review Group. Ms. Moore has extensive experience in building engineering, depreciation analysis, and capital equipment finance, and has been a nationally featured speaker on energy efficiency and commercial depreciation. Additionally, Ms. Moore is a Certified Sustainable Building Advisor and LEED AP, dedicated to continuing research and study on sustainable practices. It is her mission to provide financially meaningful benefits to her clients through her thorough understanding of green building practices and principles, energy efficiency and specialized tax incentives.
Jordan I. Taylor, CPA, Director of Taxation
Jordan I. Taylor is the Director of Taxation at Capital Review Group. Through his experience in identifying and implementing energy saving strategies for clients, Mr. Taylor provides keen expertise to Capital Review Group and the firm’s Capital Discovery® process by helping clients fully realize the value of their capital assets. Additionally, Mr. Taylor provides detailed guidance on all tax-related elements of energy efficiency projects. Mr. Taylor’s background in public accounting allows him to provide clients with the foundation for valuable, timely, and well executed tax strategies.
Charles (Chuck) Welch, Director, Engineering Services
Chuck Welch is a mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in energy and carbon management, systems design, facilities engineering and semiconductor equipment installation. Among his skills are: design documents and specifications as well as a specialty in the design and fabrication of petroleum processing equipment. Chuck has specific and extensive experience in: Quality Control, facility design, scheduling and budgeting, power and lighting design and engineering, HVAC design (especially for government properties), energy management, waste water treatment and construction management. Design software in which Mr. Welch is proficient includes: DOE-2 (eQuest) and Trace 700 (a Trane design software), Solidworks 3D and CAD management as well as proficiency in CAD production with AutoCAD. He has broad experience coordinating architectural, electrical and structural engineering.
Charles C. Duncan, Pacific Northwest Regional Director
Chuck manages the Northwest Territory out of our office in the Seattle area. A long time resident of Washington, Chuck went to Washington State University in Pullman where he studied Construction Theory and Management in the Engineering Department. He went on to work in the IT and Communications industry for a number of years for companies like Cray Research, Sun Microsystems and AT&T Mobility. Glad to be back in a construction related field Chuck has a good understanding of the drivers that influence not only how business is done but how it is changing the Northwest landscape.
Rich Maiolo, Director of Business Development
Rich manages Atlantic States Territory out of our Northeast Office. Rich has been a member of the Capital Review Group team from the beginning. He has worked as a teacher and administrator in education. Rich has owned several small businesses, which allows him to understand the rigors and demands of commercial ventures. Rich brings a uniquely blended life and a variety of life experiences to the table when introducing a menu of opportunities to his clients and their advisers. His insistence on quality products and client-centered services has made him a well-respected and accomplished leader in his areas of expertise. He works with CPAs, and commercial clients to help reduce state and federal taxes through a variety of proven strategies. Additionally, he assists public and not-for-profit agencies in long-term capital planning for building maintenance and health.
Kevin M. Holt, National Program Director
Kevin M. Holt is the National Program Director at Capital Review Group. Mr. Holt concentrates on identifying new tax savings and energy efficiency strategies for clients through numerous research channels. Additionally Mr. Holt focuses his time on maintaining Capital Review Group’s internal systems and administrative processes ensuring that the firm is always functioning to its highest productivity level. Mr. Holt’s diverse background in finance and research assists the firm in their quest of being an energy solutions leader in a constantly changing environment.
Mary K. Moore, Senior Project Engineer
Mary K. Moore is a Senior Project Engineer with Capital Review Group, specializing in Cost Segregation studies. Since joining Capital Review Group in 2006, Mary K. has performed detailed physical property inspections and analysis of data for clients to reclassify assets and accelerate depreciation in accordance with IRS guidelines. She has extensive prior experience in all aspects of project management, overseeing major defense and NASA contracts and subcontracts. Mary K. is certified to perform all types of audits. She is also a Six Sigma Certified Greenbelt, ASQ Certified Quality Auditor and Certified Project Manager.
